Filmmaker Farah Khan's Twitter and Instagram accounts get hacked; here's how she has warned all her fans about the same
Cybercrimes and social media hacking are some common problems that a lot of popular personalities face. Well, we often wake up to the news of some of the other celebs' social media accounts getting hacked and sharing unwanted, sometimes censored, posts. Luckily, a lot of them manage to get it resolved in no time, while some end up losing their accounts permanently. The latest celeb to fall prey to social media hacking is Farah Khan. The filmmaker and choreographer's Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked earlier in the day.
Fortunately, Farah Khan happened to recover her Instagram account with the help of her husband, Shirish Kunder. However, her Twitter has been disabled and she has also asked fans to not to respond to any messages from her hacked social media accounts. Taking to her Instagram, Farah shared a note saying, “My Twitter account has been hacked as of last evening. Please do not click or reply if you get any message from it as it may be used to hack into your account too.”
Her caption read, “This is true! My Instagram was also hacked n many dm s could have gone from it.. pls be vigilant. Iv managed to restore Instagram thanks to computer engineer @shirishkunder .. hoping to get Twitter reinstated too."

Prior to this, actress-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar's Instagram account was hacked after she replied to a direct message. The actress was quick to file an FIR and retrieve her account with Mumbai Police's help.
